Blue Ribbon Award for St. Edward School

St. Edward School has been awarded National Blue Ribbon School status, a prestigious award given by the U.S. Department of Education. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant improvements are being made in students' levels of academic achievement.

Since 1982, the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has honored America's most successful schools.

What This Means

Blue Ribbon status means that:

St. Edward School is ranked in the top 50 out of 36,000 private schools in the nation. St. Edward School received the Blue Ribbon Award for being a "high performing" school. This means the achievement of the school's students places the school in the top 15 percent in the nation in reading (or English language arts) and mathematics as measured by a nationally normed test.
