The school wide standardized measurement tool is the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. St. Edward School students perform well above the national average and are always in the top five schools in the Cleveland Diocese.

All classes at St. Edward School participate in community service projects and character development programs. Great emphasis is placed on service and stewardship. The focus of an outstanding music program is the weekly Children's Mass. Students participate through singing, playing instruments, and even performing liturgical dances. The Mass has truly become a weekly highlight.
