We are forever grateful to the dedicated sisters of the Order of St. Francis who staffed this school over fifty years ago. They built the framework of Catholic education at St. Edward School. Upon this solid foundation we work and plan for the future.

The National Conference of Catholic Bishops defines Catholic schools as:

''...communities of Faith in which the Christian message, the experience of community, worship, and social concern are integrated in the total experience of students, their parents, and members of the faculty.''

St. Edward School embraces this philosophy. The mission of the school is to challenge students to glorify God through academic excellence, stewardship, and community service.
