Tuition Information
This letter contains the tuition information and forms for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
You may choose one of three ways to pay the tuition. You may pay the total amount due in one sum or you may go through Tuition Management Systems and make monthly payments. You may also choose to pay some of the tuition in cash and the balance with Tuition management Systems. The school tuition form is due by May 28th . All cash tuition is also due by May 28th . This is very important to our budget and must be turned in on time. Back-to-School PacksIf you wish to order back-to-school packs, please return the order form by May 28th . Payments must accompany the order. The back-to-school pack payment must be a separate check. Do not add it to the tuition check. Tuition Management SystemsThe Tuition Management Systems enrollment form is enclosed to sign up for the tuition payment plan. There is a $55.00 application fee per family, but no interest charged. Please only list the oldest child in the family attending St. Edward School on the application form. The brochure should be filled out and sent with the $55.00 application fee by June 1st or you may apply online at www.afford.com. If you mail the application please send it directly to Tuition Management Systems in the enclosed envelope with the $55.00.
Definition of a Parishioner Regarding TuitionParishioner rates are charged to any family considered to be active parishioners. An ''active'' parishioner is understood to be one who is registered, attends, and is contributing on a regular basis by means of the offertory envelopes. School Support OrganizationSt. Edward School Support Organization (S.S.O.) consists of a membership of all parents and teachers. It is designed to support the school in various fundraising endeavors as well as school activities (library volunteers, field day, etc.). We ask that each parent volunteer for at least one committee. Sign up will take place at the Parent Orientation at the beginning of the school year. Tuition Refund PolicyOnce a student registers at St. Edward School a spot has been reserved for him/her and that tuition amount has been added to the budget. Therefore, the policy is this: once a student begins a semester the parents are responsible for paying for the semester (tuition for half the year). Exceptions will be made when the parents' work requires the family to move, and it is no longer possible to attend the school.
